這6支中國球隊目前的获亚获牌準入狀態為“受限準入” ，即滿足了亞冠“強製性標準”的準入條件 ，但不滿足“義務性標準”的條件 ，他們將在亞冠聯賽時受到亞足聯一定程度的受限性懲罰 ，但仍可以獲得亞冠準入資格 。其他中國球隊則即便在本賽季獲得相應的成績 ，也將不具備2022亞冠參賽資格 ，他們的資格將按成績排名序列由後續的俱樂部繼承 。
