LOS ANGELES -- PewDiePie is taking a break from his daily vlogging.
The YouTuber (whose real name is Felix Kjellberg) said last week he will take a brief hiatus from his videos because of the stress of his busy schedule. He's currently in Los Angeles working on season two of YouTube Red series Scare PewDiePie.
"I'm doing the show, daily vlogs, Revelmode stuff...it's just been too much," he said in his latest vlog titled "I quit (for now)".
"Everyone is just stressed out over the vlogs and I think the fun disappeared somewhere. If it's forced and not fun what's the point of continuing?"

The Swedish gamer, who has more than 47 million subscribers to his channel, said he completed 14 of his 22 planned vlogs in L.A. before deciding to pull the rest of the planned videos.

"I think I have a pretty high tolerance of stress but it just got worse when I came here," he said. "I'm really sorry ... it really sucks for me. I've always put YouTube first, always. Even if I'm working on other projects, it doesn't matter. You guys come first, that's my main thing. But I can't do that while I'm here ... keeping the vlogs up is just impossible at this point."
On Mondayhe tweeted at his fans a simple "Brb."
