北京時間3月11日 ，上海申花苏宁上海申花官方發布公告 ，官方国脚吳曦正式加盟 。宣布现役
吳曦在稍早前發文告別江蘇隊 ，吴曦他表示 ，回归很遺憾 ，曾助沒能穿上一天胸前繡星的夺冠隊服 ，但是上海申花苏宁那顆星會一直在我的心裏 。

經與江蘇足球俱樂部友好協商並與球員本人達成一致 ，官方国脚吳曦回歸加盟上海申花足球俱樂部 。宣布现役
吳曦1989年2月19日出生於河北省石家莊市 ，吴曦身高180cm，回归司職中場 。曾助2009年底，夺冠年僅20歲的上海申花苏宁吳曦從河北隊加盟上海申花 ，正式開啟其中國頂級聯賽生涯 。效力申花的三個賽季 ，吳曦共代表申花出場86場 ，打入6球 。2013年 ，吳曦加盟江蘇隊 ，在效力江蘇隊的8個賽季中 ，吳曦在各項賽事中代表了江蘇出場238場 、打入29球，作為球隊核心 ，吳曦率隊獲得中超聯賽冠軍 、足協杯冠軍 、超級杯冠軍各一座。
在國家隊層麵 ，2011年7月 ，年僅22歲的吳曦首次入選中國國家隊集訓名單 ，隨隊征戰巴西世界杯亞洲區資格賽的比賽 。7月28日 ，在世界杯預選賽第二階段中國隊客場6-1擊敗老撾隊比賽中，吳曦首發出場並送上助攻 ，完成了個人國家隊的首秀 。作為現役國腳，吳曦已代表中國男足出場68場 ，攻入7球 。
