北京時間3月10日消息，今年年初發文告別廣州隊的脚梅竞技前國腳梅方，今天正式發文宣布退役 ，布退結束自己的役膝球員生涯 。
以下為梅方的伤让水平退役感言 ：
“對我來說 ，2014.6.18是无法一個無比重要而光榮的日子 ，那也是到过一個實現兒時夢想的夜晚 。那是前国去我第一次身穿國家隊球衣站在球場上 ，聽到國歌聲響起時，脚梅竞技緊張又有壓力。布退時間總是役膝過得那麽快 ，一轉眼就是伤让水平8年時間。在這段時間裏，无法很榮幸也很驕傲 ，到过我一直都在國家隊的前国去考察範圍之中 。
不過 ，告別的時刻終究還是到了 。膝關節的損傷讓我無法再回到過去的競技水平和心理狀態，我也不得不向國家隊 、向我的球員生涯告別 。感謝足協 、感謝國家隊 ，給了我一份溫暖而意義非凡的禮物 。感謝曾經一起奮戰的每一位國家隊教練、球員 、醫生 、工作人員 ，感謝你們對我的信任、支持和幫助 。”
“如果相遇是離別的開始 ，那麽離別就是為了下一次相遇做準備 。球員生涯將告一段落 ，接下來的時間 ，我希望能通過不斷的理論學習和實踐積累 ，一步一步完成所有的教練員學習課程 ，踏踏實實走上教練員之路 ，也希望未來能繼續為中國足球事業貢獻一份力量。”
“最後，還是想說出心底那份最真摯的祝福願我們的國家隊走出低穀 ，一步一個腳印地向更好的方向前進 。”
