The world may be a terrible place full of awful, yawning misery, but the good news is it's not all bad all the time.
Every now and then you see something on the internet that's just... well, just quite nice.
The recent daily treasure hunt that's started over on the subreddit r/CasualUK is the perfect example of this.
It all kicked off on Tuesday, when some kind individual hid a Birmingham-London train ticket at New Street Station that they'd bought by accident.
Obviously just that post alone would be pretty awesome, but it gets better: the next day, the person who found the train ticket decided to spread the goodwill.
At this stage we're three days in, and the treasure hunt shows no sign of slowing down.
