《新快報》表示 ，磊基5月12日晚，本上廣州城官宣唐淼續約 ，广州向這位忠心耿耿的粤媒役老將送上了“一人一城一隊”的盛讚 。31歲的唐淼唐淼已經在廣州城效力了11個賽季 。這次續約 ，降薪薪資待遇比之前下降了不少 ，续约但能看出來唐淼對廣州城的程月城退感情 。
與唐淼情況一樣選擇堅守的磊基 ，還有在隊10年之久的本上門將程月磊。因為U23規則 ，程月磊在2020年就讓出了主力位置 。前兩個賽季 ，程月磊隻有1次出場 。去年初 ，程月磊曾收到浙江隊伸出的橄欖枝 ，但經過考慮之後還是選擇留隊 。已經35歲的程月磊和球隊再度續約 ，基本上可以視作要在廣州城掛靴了 。
