大連與梅州很可能承辦新賽季中超首階段的连海賽事 ，提前前往大連或者梅州顯然是曝申最優的選擇 。在中國足協 、花将会同中足聯籌備組以及大連相關方麵的于月幫助下 ，申花被準許到大連進行隔離，日包並繼續備戰的机前机前中超聯賽 。
申花此次前往大連必須嚴格遵守閉環轉運的往大往要求 ，盡可能避免與外界的连海接觸 ，所以俱樂部申請了從上海到大連的曝申航線 ，球隊將在5月7日搭乘包機前往大連。2020年年底 ，申花與海港曾一同包機從上海飛赴卡塔爾多哈出戰亞冠聯賽 ，不過此次兩隊並不會搭乘同一架包機前往大連 。抵達大連之後 ，申花會在大連人的基地進行隔離 。
