最近在巴黎主場進行的前主球比賽中 ，梅西遭到主隊球迷的帅梅噓聲 ，顯然巴黎球迷對梅西感到不滿。西比對此，更需前巴黎主帥吉雷塞發表了自己的有利已成看法 ，他認為梅西的环境性格不同於C羅 ，梅西需要有利的普通環境 。
吉雷塞表示 ：“我們都可以發出噓聲 ，前主球但針對梅西的帅梅噓聲 ，情況有些‘例外’ 。西比因為我覺得，更需梅西不是有利已成故意的 。梅西是环境第一個不走運的人 ，但是普通這些解釋肯定無法安慰球迷，他嚐試去安慰球迷 ，前主球但是有些方麵出了問題 。”
“對於梅西來說 ，之前是簡單的一些動作 ，他現在也變得難以完成 ，這就意味著梅西已經變成常人 。而且梅西的性格不同於C羅 ，也不同於伊布 ，他需要有利的環境 ，顯然在巴黎沒有。內馬爾就不一樣了，他不在乎這些了 ，梅西就沒有去時裝周 ，不像‘她’ 。”
本賽季到目前為止 ，梅西各項賽事為巴黎聖日耳曼出場26次 ，打進7球 ，助攻11次 。其中在法甲聯賽出場18次 ，僅打進2球。而在歐冠八分之一決賽與皇馬的兩回合對決 ，梅西沒能挺身而出 ，尤其是次回合敗走伯納烏 ，梅西的表現沒有太多亮點 。
