FREE BLEACHER REPORT ADD-ON:Starting Oct. 5, Max subscribers can access the new Bleacher Report live sports add-on for free through Feb. 29. After that, Bleacher Report will cost an additional $9.99 per month.

Watching your favorite sports live can be a complicated pain. You've got to track down the packages that include all the games you want to see at all the right times without spending an arm and a leg. There are plenty of great live sports streaming options, but you still have to choose the right one to add to one of your monthly subscription services. But Warner Bros. Discovery is about to make things much simpler for sports and film fans with the debut of its Bleacher Report add-on for streaming platform Max.
As of Oct. 5, Max subscribers will be able to stream live sports for free. That includes everything from the new NHL season launch to MLB post-season games. All of this content can be streamed without paying extra through Feb. 29. After that, subscribers will need to pay up to the tune of an additional $9.99 per month.

By the time your favorite team hits the court, you'll have to pony up that additional monthly fee. Max's least expensive, ad-supported tier costs $9.99 per month, so with the cost of the sports add-on, you'll pay $19.98 monthly.
Sure, it's a little sneaky to get you hooked on the service before hitting you with an extra fee, but if you've cut the cable cord and need a reliable hub for the big games in 2024, this is still an affordable way to go about it. If you don't have a Max account, now's a good time to sign up so you'll be ready to check out everything the new service offers before it's time to pay up.
