當地時間10月13日 ，官方法國足球職業聯盟發布公告稱 ：自2023-2024賽季起 ，法甲法甲球隊的下赛數量將從20支減少到18支 ，2022-23賽季排名墊底的季降最後4支球隊將在賽季結束後降級 ，因為接下來的官方法甲聯賽將由18支球隊組成 ，而非20支球隊 。法甲因此 ，下赛下賽季比賽結束後隻會有兩支球隊從法乙聯賽晉級 。季降
