This student has not been a good student. So why do we feel so ... inspired?
Physics lab instructor and Redditor flopmaster0 posted a photo of said pupil's unfinished lab report to Imgur on Wednesday with the caption, "I'm going to miss this lab student." And after reading the cheeky report, we probably would too.
In what would otherwise be the "Introduction" section of his report, the student explains that he'll be on academic suspension the next semester due to his poor performance in a Differential Equations class.

As a result, he continues in the "Theory" section, he'll be pursuing his pilot's license — something he's wanted to do before, but couldn't for financial reasons.
See, this isn't so bad. He's following his dreams!

"This one's for you Zach," he concludes. "One less lab report to grade."
"Thank you for your help in lab," the student adds. "Good luck with your studies." (We're assuming Zach is a student teacher.)

In the end, it's a beautiful tale — less grading for the teacher, less drudgery for the student and more giggling for the Internet.
What a rollercoaster ride it's been.
