If you want a smart speaker that can eavesdrop on the go, you're in luck. Amazon is launching a portable Echo speaker.
It's called the Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition, and it's basically an advanced version of the flat, speakerless Echo Inputmeant to add Alexa to regular speakers.

The new Input, which kind of looks like a squat, mini rice cooker, has a 4,800mAh battery that Amazon claims provides 10 hours of music. It also features Alexa and all its controls, 360 degrees of sound, and the ability to work with compatible smart home devices.
There's a catch, though.

Right now, this version of the Echo Input speaker is only launching in India. Speaking to TechCrunch, Miriam Daniel, VP of Alexa Devices, noted that, “Portability has been one of the most requested features in India." It will ship on Dec. 18 for 4,999 rupees ($70).
