卡拉格談道 ：“我確實感覺到了最終會是利物4-0收場 ，曼聯現在的浦也位置 ，就像我還穿著利物浦球衣踢球的卡拉時候 ，希望挑戰曼聯。格支那時候曼聯是曼联没惨聯賽頂級球隊，擁有著優秀的又菜又贵教練和陣容 ，而我們隻是最差在身後追趕的 ，不過我認為我們從沒有像這麽糟糕過 。利物”

“這支曼聯確實糟糕 ，但是這可是有史以來最昂貴的一套陣容之一啊 。甚至都不用說吉格斯或者斯科爾斯了 ，如果你（內維爾）現在為這支曼聯效力，你都不會允許這種情況發生 ，我也不會允許這種情況發生 。”
