內維爾談到曼聯現狀時表示 ：“曼聯是支什麽風格的球隊 ？他們是一支反擊球隊 。但如果大部分情況下你的對手都比你弱，那情況就有點難了 ，所以一般像維拉 、埃弗頓會以反擊為主 。現在一支沒那麽好的球隊都能將曼聯攔腰斬斷 ，這就是問題 ，他們必須想辦法解決 。”
