此前，巴西媒體報道稱 ，艾克森仍然期待為中國隊效力 ，並為2026世界杯周期努力做準備 ，目前他是以外援的身份加盟格雷米奧俱樂部 。而格雷米奧主席羅米爾多接受采訪時也表示，艾克森仍然想在中國國家隊踢球 。
