雖然近期官宣了幾個合作夥伴 ，但廣州隊因此獲得的讚助收益還無法達到對俱樂部的有力支撐 。從目前廣州隊集訓的球隊 ，就是足校隊 ，去年一線隊的隊員中 ，除去在海南集訓的國腳 ，其他球員均未被通知到隊集訓 ，隊裏也未就這些球員的去留與隊員有任何溝通。而幾名老將 ，包括黃博文 ，梅方等等 ，已經公開半公開地做出了退役的決定。
