北京時間11月14日，在世界杯預選賽歐洲區D組的马和姆巴比賽中，法國坐鎮王子公園球場主場，佩水8-0大勝哈薩克斯坦 ，乳交融最並憑借此一役提前出線，重法正式進軍2022卡塔爾世界杯。本泽賽後，马和姆巴本場比賽梅開二度的佩水皇馬前鋒本澤馬接受了媒體的采訪 。

本場比賽的梅開二度 ，使得皇馬前鋒超越前輩特雷澤蓋 ，以35球成為法國隊隊史排行第五的射手 ，對此 ，本澤馬表示 ：“我為此而感到自豪，特雷澤蓋是個傳奇，在進球數字上超越他讓我很開心 ，但如我先前所說 ，最重要的是能夠幫助球隊取得勝利。”
