效力沙爾克04的滉因中場球員板倉滉遭遇了右腳跟傷勢的困擾，因此他將缺席定於當地時間9月2日星期四19點10分（主場對陣阿曼）和9月7日星期二（客場對陣中國）的伤退赛昌12強賽比賽 ，因此來自大阪鋼巴的出强後衛昌子源遞補入圍。
