在3月14日濟南進行的国足一場熱身賽中 ，東道主山東泰山隊以1比1戰平河南嵩山龍門隊 。队长令人遺憾的蒿俊或顶是 ，開場僅僅5分鍾左右 ，闵因泰山隊隊長蒿俊閔就因腿部肌肉拉傷而被換下場 ，伤无山队他也將為此錯過即將於本月21日開始的缘集新一期國足上海集訓 。取代他參加國家隊集訓的训泰新援徐新大概率是其俱樂部新隊友徐新 。
在14日進行的国足那場熱身賽中 ，蒿俊閔作為泰山隊場上隊長首發出場 。队长據了解 ，蒿俊或顶開場僅僅5分鍾左右 ，闵因蒿俊閔與對方隊員發生了一次身體碰撞 ，伤无山队結果蒿俊閔身體打滑倒地 ，缘集造成腿部肌肉拉傷 。训泰新援徐新知情人士透露 ，国足承接比賽的泰山俱樂部訓練基地賽前為場地澆了水 ，結果造成場地濕滑。從這點來說 ，蒿俊閔實在運氣不佳 。
按照計劃 ，國足將於3月21日正式在上海集中 ，隨後進行新一期集訓 。蒿俊閔因傷將鐵定無緣參加本期集訓。不過 ，在後腰位置上，主教練李鐵留用充足的備選 。比如參加上期海口集訓 ，已經由廣州俱樂部轉會至泰山俱樂部的徐新就成為蒿俊閔的第一替補人選 。不出意外的話 ，他將接到征調令參加本期國足集訓。
