It's the stuff of nightmares and it's happening in your kitchen.

You're in your neighbour's kitchen, if you're Australian man, Jason Womal. He filmed the terrifying moment a huntsman spider (all too common in Australian households) was found dragging the corpse of a mouse up the fridge of his neighbouring buddy.

Womal was about to head off to work in the early hours of Monday morning when his neighbour asked if he wanted to see something cool.

It seems more creepy and irksome than cool, but sure. Perhaps he meant "cool" because it was happening on a fridge?

It is unclear whether or not the spider was the reason for the mousey's mortal end, or if old eight-legs simply stumbled across the meaty meal and took advantage of a free dinner.

Either way, gross.
