J. K. Simmons, the beloved Oscar-winning actor, has unfortunately been eaten by an insanely jacked man who looks somewhat like him.
I mean, that's the only explanation for this.

Apparently, Simmons is getting swole to play Commissioner Gordon in the Justice League film. That's right, Commissioner Gordon. The older man who builds a nice big flashlight out of desperation to get a stronger man's help.
Clearly, Simmons is taking the character in a different direction.
Look, there's a level of vascularity and muscle tone that looks cool and impressive. And then there's a level that makes you worry, "Is this person getting enough calcium?"
J. K. Simmons is flirting with the latter level.
