Airbnb has activated its disaster response page following the record-breaking flooding in Louisiana. 。
With at least seven people dead and some 20,000 evacuated as a result of the flood, the accommodation site has set live the tool that allows hosts to offer their homes free of charge.。

Existing hosts and local residents with extra space can host those in need for free, and all Airbnb bookings in the affected area are fee-free from Aug 14 to Sept 4.。

Airbnb's disaster response page was first put into action during Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and has been deployed everywhere from Serbia to London, Toronto and the Philippines after extreme weather events.。
