在劇中,劉奕君飾演的蘅王因兄弟梁驚夢功高蓋主,不惜在眾人麵前刀劍相向,兄弟情斷於慶功宴 。隨後,风范蘅王元武閉關修煉為“天下第一人”,擁有八境修為。在鹿山會盟和岷山劍會上,刘奕蘅王兩次盡顯王者風範,將他野心勃勃一統天下的誌向宣告三國 。重典亂世

為君為父,看似不近人情的蘅王(劉奕君飾)在劇中隻有遠大抱負,而忽略了妻兒,就連他自己都以為心中不再有溫熱 。可當太子元子初麵臨生死臥病在床,刘奕麵對隨時會失去的兒子,蘅王的眼角還是流出了一滴眼淚 。而這一細膩的處理,也令觀眾讚歎:“處理的太好了!”“蘅王是君王,也是父親啊!”
