Finally: dainty landscape paintings you can carry in your pocket.
Canadian artist Christian Mackie had been watching a lot of Bob Ross's legendary show The Joy of Painting — "for whatever reason," he told Mashable. And when he came across a pack of tiny canvases at an art store, his latest project, "Miniature Mountains," fell quickly into place.

Mackie's paintings are all two inches by two inches, which is about half the size of a credit card. They're also done in the style of Bob Ross, which means lots of happy little trees and happy little mountains.
And don't be fooled by their miniature size — each painting can take up to three hours.

Not only are the paintings delighting viewers, they're also helping keep Mackie occupied until spring weather arrives.
"Now I'm drinking whiskey and painting mini mountains at my kitchen table to avoid the fact that it's still basically winter here in Canada," he said.
Bob would be proud.
