The New Mexico State and Fresno State football teams are scheduled to meet in the 2023 New Mexico Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 16 at University Stadium in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The game is scheduled to start at 5:45 p.m. ET/3:45 p.m. MT. 

New Mexico State enters the matchup 10-4 overall. Most recently, Liberty beat NMSU 49-35 on Dec. 1 in the Conference USA Championship Game. Fresno State comes into the contest 8-4 overall. On Nov. 25, San Diego State defeated Fresno State 33-18. Entering Saturday, Fresno State leads the all-time series 18-1 vs. NMSU.
