Summer may be coming to an end, but there's still time for a movie marathon or two.
This September, HBO Now is offering up a slew of cinematic staples. Classics like RoboCop and The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (yeah, you heard us) are streaming alongside newer releases like Isn't It Romantic, The Lego Movie 2, Welcome to Marwen, and Mary of Queen Scots.
Cue up a few of those new arrivals, and then make sure to add hits like Mean Girls, Psycho, and Deadpool 2 to your watch list before they depart at the end of the month.
Check out everything coming to — and going from — HBO Now this September below.
Top Pick:RoboCop (1987)
Not all of the '80s nostalgia wave is worth riding. But if you're going to dive into any rewatch, make it RoboCop.
"The dystopian world of RoboCopreally isn't too far off from the kinds of things we're seeing in the United States right now," explains Mashable's Kellen Beck, in what has to be the best RoboCopbreakdown written in years.
"The metaphors in RoboCopare over the top and a little bit ridiculous when surrounded by cheesy one liners and '80s action, but the lessons you can take from them are so on the nose it's almost scary."
SEE ALSO:'RoboCop' is a prescient satire worth revisitingGenuine fun and ominously relevant, the original RoboCopis worth the 103 minutes it'll take to see.
RoboCop (1987) begins streaming 9/1 on HBO Now.
