《gol.ru》還指出 ，澳大利亞就是“入亞”的典型代表 。在2005年，澳大利亞從大洋洲足聯轉投到亞足聯旗下 ，並曾經贏得了亞洲杯冠軍 。俄羅斯有大量國土處於亞洲 ，“脫歐入亞”從理論上而言比澳大利亞更有說服力 。
但《gol.ru》也承認 ，俄羅斯想要加入亞足聯存在著很大難度 。最關鍵的一點 ，就是這需要得到國際足聯的批準 ，但目前FIFA也是處罰俄羅斯的關鍵權力機構之一。要想說服國際足聯 ，俄羅斯需要做的事情還有很多很多 。
