As a reporter, there are some things I've been sent to cover that are so boring -- so visibly meaningless -- that I am stunned into silence.
So you have to have a little empathy for poor reporter Dave Scott, who was recently forced to cover the opening of an inflatables festival in San Diego.
SEE ALSO:Mom's viral rant about cheesecakes is too relatableThis is the most awkward three minutes of news journalism you'll ever watch. You may not even make it to the end of the clip, humbled by the eviscerating prolonged silences. There's a strong chance you'll want to lunge at your computer, screaming "Someone please help that man!" only to have the cold, hard screen protector look back at you, devoid of feeling.
The people he interviews are just not helping. So I'll answer your question, Dave. Sometimes inflation is good, and sometimes it's bad, depending on the rate of that inflation and whether the federal reserve spiked it it to spur investment.
Thank you for everything you did, Dave, to try and make beautiful content for this dear earth.
