With Apple's fall iPhone event just a day away, you'd think we already know all there is to know about the iPhone 12 lineup. And, for the most part, we do; here are two overviews of what we expect Apple to announce tomorrow.
However, leaker Max Winebauch has shared some very detailed, last-minute info about the new iPhones, some of which we haven't heard before.

According to Winebauch, the smallest of the new iPhones – the 5.4-inch "iPhone 12 mini" – will have a more tightly arranged TrueDepth camera system on the front, resulting in a notch that's smaller horizontally, but slightly larger vertically.

Zoom is getting a boost; Weinbauch claims the Pro models will have 3x optical zoom and 25x to 30x digital zoom, while the non-Pro iPhone 12 models will get better zoom through software enhancements.

The new iPhones are getting batteries that are about 10% larger than in previous models, too. This should result in a one-hour battery life increase for the Pro models. The 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini, however, will perform more poorly than the iPhone 11 when it comes to battery life, due to its smaller size.

Apple's big event kicks off at 10 a.m. PT Tuesday, Oct. 13. You can tune in to watch the live stream over at Apple's website or on YouTube.
