If there's one thing Donald Trump has taught us since his presidential campaign began, it's think before you tweet.
On Saturday morning, Trump's latest controversial social media actions came in the form of two tweets targeting Civil Rights icon and U.S. Representative for Georgia John Lewis, claiming the man is "all talk and no action or results."

Despite the fact that Lewis spoke first, Trump claiming that the active Civil Rights leader, who amongst many other notable contributions was a Freedom Rider, spoke at 1963's March on Washington and led the anti-segregation "Bloody Sunday" march in Alabama in 1965, is a "Sad!" man who should spend more time taking action rather than "falsely complaining about the election results" is, well, absurd.

In case Trump has forgotten, Lewis also recently "took action" by participating in the Democratic-led gun safety sit-inon the floor of the House of Representatives in response to House Speaker Paul Ryan's refusal to bring up several gun control bills for a vote.

Needless to say, people are mighty displeased with the president-elect's discrediting messages (and their timing with Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday). And appalled Twitter users have taken it upon themselves to highlight and defend Lewis's many years of activism and action, while simultaneously condemning Trump's less than honorable behavior.
