搜狐體育消息，海港号抽北京時間4月21日，免费據《東方體育日報》消息，引进预案新賽季徐新將大概率上海海港，徐新性徐新的比高病和加盟將提升海港中場實力。

據報道，为伤徐新加盟泰山時，国字和俱樂部簽訂的海港号抽是一份1+4的合同，但是免费在上賽季結束之後，徐新並未選擇順延合同，引进预案從而成為自由身。徐新性隨著泰山很快敲定了原廣州隊中場廖力生，比高病和徐新逐漸與海港越走越近。为伤

除徐新外，国字海港陣中擁有楊世元、海港号抽買提江、阿布拉汗等多名球員，眾所周知的是，隊長奧斯卡、外援保利尼奧和穆伊也主要集中在中前場，因此真正留給本土球員的中場位置並不多。不過，考慮到漫長賽季中的傷病和國字號球隊抽調等因素，這樣的人數配置又的確是球隊所需要的。

徐新此次是以自由身加盟海港，因此海港俱樂部不需要支付任何轉會費就能收獲一名國腳級中場，性價比頗高。
