馬特烏斯就說道：“這一點也不合適 ，后竟尤其是全队去度在這樣一場比賽之後。如果你贏球了 ，假高那我會說：‘在伊比薩島待三天 。团建’但在這樣一場比賽之後 ，拜仁那是输球不可能的 ！不僅僅是后竟因為球員，更是因為拜仁的公眾形象 。拜仁的球迷很生氣 ，然而球員們之後卻去度假了 。在這樣一場比賽之後，休息日當然要被取消 。”
前主帥馬加特表示：“對於所有球隊來說 ，賽季是持續到最後一個比賽日的。我不理解 ，為什麽一支球隊可以說 ：‘我們不用踢到賽季結束了 ，最後三輪就劃水吧 。’這對於德甲和這項運動都不是好事 。”
不過拜仁體育總監薩利哈米季奇卻不這麽認為 ，“上周 ，球員們告訴我們說 ，他們希望能以團隊的形式在伊比薩島度過休息日。我們接受了 ，作為一次團建活動。作為一名球員 ，我學到了你可以從失敗中變得更強大 ，而這樣的團建活動能成為基礎 。”
