上半場第24分鍾 ，女足上海隊前鋒趙瑩瑩接邊路傳中頭球破門，全运為上海隊先拔頭籌 。上海队合队会师下半場剛開場3分鍾，击败决赛陝西球員龍晨利用角球機會頭球破門，陕西幫助球隊扳回一城 。队奥常規時間戰罷 ，运联雙方以1:1的女足比分進入點球大戰。陝西隊球員在點球大戰中射丟一粒點球 ，全运最終 ，上海隊以6:4的總比分取得最終勝利。
稍早進行的十四運會足球女子成年組的半決賽中 ，奧運聯合隊4:0擊敗北京隊挺進決賽 ，上海隊將在9月25日19:30迎來與奧運聯合隊的對決 。陝西隊則將在9月25日16:00與北京隊展開三 、四名的爭奪 。
