由於埃及與塞內加爾在不同半區 ，兩隊將有可能會師決賽。非洲杯開賽前，馬內就曾放話說要在決賽對戰薩拉赫或是凱塔中的一人 ，不過目前 ，塞內加爾頭牌在上一場比賽中被撞出了腦震蕩的狀況 ，能否出現在後麵的比賽中尚屬未知 。
