Amazon unveiled its plans for Amazon Go with a video showing its vision for grocery shopping in December. Customers enter the stores by checking in with their smartphones, which will track everything customers take from shelves and charge their Amazon accounts after they walk out.。
In the video, that meant shopping for sandwiches, yogurt and soda, but soon customers will be able to grab a beer without waiting in line. 。
The store in Seattle is Amazon's first, tested in a pilot program with Amazon employees. The store is supposed to open to the Seattle public in early 2017, but no date confirmed is by Amazon yet. 。
