有青島媒體寫到：最新消息顯示，可退此前已確定將退出中國足壇的德转2020賽季中超冠軍江蘇隊、2020賽季中超第十天津津門虎將起死回生 。若球如此一來 ，员转已開始備戰2021賽季中超聯賽的续没滄州雄獅 、浙江綠城將不得不接受參加2021賽季中甲聯賽的办完殘酷現實。
報道還稱滄州雄獅甚至接到了相關機構的确实通知 ，要求其退回準備簽下的可退江蘇隊球員和天津津門虎球員。不過 ，德转《體壇周報》發文表示 ，滄州雄獅沒有接到退回蘇津球員通知。
對於退回球員一事 ，德國轉會市場中國區管理員朱藝表示 ，如果球員轉會手續沒有辦完 ，確實是可以退回的 。
朱藝寫到 ：
如果球員轉會手續沒辦完 ，確實是可以退回的 ，而且確實也有不少江蘇天津球員沒辦或沒辦完轉會手續（包括一些已官宣的）。但如果已經辦完了 ，就比較麻煩了 ，因為人已經不屬於原球隊了 。而且這事隻能說“協調” ，不好說“要求”的，傳出去被FIFA盯上就完了（FIFA嚴禁第三方幹預轉會）。。 。
