北京時間10月24日 ，深圳申花足協杯第三輪，主帅抓住上海申花憑借老將於漢超的强表進球 ，1-0戰勝深足 ，现好在兩回合淘汰賽中占據領先 。对手賽後深圳隊主教練卡洛斯表示：“比賽過程非常激烈 ，而们兩支球隊都去全力拚搶每一個球 ，深圳申花兩支球隊獲得的主帅抓住機會都不會太多。對手抓住了機會 ，强表但我們很遺憾沒有抓住 。现好”
談到本場比賽的对手節奏相對比較慢的問題 ，卡洛斯表示 ：“對手實力很強 ，而们表現很好 ，深圳申花我們希望踢得節奏更快 ，主帅抓住但對手放慢了比賽節奏 ，强表比賽節奏並不取決於一支球隊 。我們希望更長時間控球 ，占據比賽主導性 ，通過控球去創造機會 ，對方的打法跟我們不一樣 ，他們有他們的特點 。”
有記者問 ：進攻端沒創造出太多機會 ，接下來如何調整 ？
對此卡洛斯表示 ：“我們賽前準備當中 ，知道比賽會是這樣 ，比賽踢到這個階段 ，對手實力很強勁 ，我們知道雙方在比賽中獲得的機會都不會太多 。包括下一場比賽 ，我覺得可能得分機會都不會太多 ，最關鍵的是哪支球隊能夠把握細節 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
