目前四輪比賽過後 ，日本隊2勝2負積6分 ，暫時排名小組第三 ，但是吉田麻也認為，日本隊的形勢依舊艱難 ：“明年3月底的客場比賽（對陣澳大利亞）會非常艱難 ，希望到那時候我們可以獲得足夠的積分 ，所以我們必須一直振作下去 。”
