目前四輪比賽過後 ，日本隊2勝2負積6分 ，暫時排名小組第三，但是吉田麻也認為，日本隊的形勢依舊艱難：“明年3月底的客場比賽（對陣澳大利亞）會非常艱難，希望到那時候我們可以獲得足夠的積分，所以我們必須一直振作下去。”
