Could your preferred heart rate actually be the key to your heart?
Lime, a new dating app, is hoping so. Their promise is to match you up with other people who are similarly obsessed with exercise -- or as terminally lazy -- as you are. 。
Created by Edward Chen and launched last month, Lime is the first dating app to use data from your iOS health app to asses your activity level. Is your love or hatred of walking enough to build a relationship on? Maybe? At worst, it can help you avoid pairing up with someone who loves to head out for a jog at the crack of dawn when you’d rather lounge in bed until noon.。

。Chen said in an email that he had the idea to match people based on their activity level since, "it gives you a lot more to talk about, but also more activities to do together." A high step count means you're probably into exploring the outside world and would rather not waste your time matching with an indoor boy or girl.。

The app works by analyzing how you move -- are you more active on the weekends, every day or never? You have to login using Facebook, for now at least, and it also factors in common interests from your profile there to offer you potential mates. 。
It then shows you people nearby who you’re well-suited to, and amusingly shows their distance in steps. (Lazybones can presumably convert this to driving distance in their head.) You can even see a person's step count chart for the last seven days.。
SEE ALSO:Hater, the app that lets you find love based on what you hate 。If you're interested in someone, do the usual swipe right. If it's a match, you can start things off by sending one of three “Go” requests -- “meet up now,” “go out for a coffee” or “grab a bite.” Actually having to go someplace part might be a turn-off to the super couch potatoes among us, but don't worry, you can also start an old-fashioned chat. 。
So far it's proven pretty popular, snagging some 5,000 users in its first few weeks. You'll have to see for yourself whether your physical endurance alone can lead to enduring love, but if you're in desperate need of a partner for binge watching your favorite show for an entire weekend, this could be a good place to start. 。
