It was a prime sabotage opportunity, and it worked.

Friends allegedly dared Dennis Harrison — a 25-year-old East Boston resident and New England Patriots fan — to pull a fire alarm at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport early Sunday morning to disturb the sleeping Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of their AFC Championship matchup against New England.

The Patriots won, 36-17, and punched their ticket to the Super Bowl. Harrison, on the other hand, ran into State Police during the getaway, and delivered the greatest response to his alleged actions.

"I'm drunk. I'm stupid. I'm a Pats fan," he said, per the Boston Globe.

In municipal court on Monday, Harrison pleaded not guilty to charges of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and setting off a false fire alarm, according to the Boston Globe. Authorities released him on personal recognizance.

The details of Harrison's alleged heist are absurd — his getaway car ditched him, and Harrison claimed to be waiting for an Uber when State Police confronted him. He "expressed regret" over the prank, according to a state trooper.

If that's the case, don't expect to hear about Harrison pulling fire alarms in Houston early in the morning on Feb. 5, when the Patriots face the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl. But, facing a Falcons offense that scored 38 touchdowns during the regular season, New England would probably take all the help it can get.
