After Candace Payne's video of herself experiencing pure joy as she tried on a Chewbacca mask began to go viral, you could practically hear the creak of machinery as brands tried to figure out how to capitalize.
Kohl's gave it a go, and honestly, it warms the heart a little.

They visited Payne and her two kids Saturday, gifting the family an epic haul of Star Wars toys.

Although the Chewbacca mask has since sold out coast to coast, the store also managed to bring the kids a few more after Payne said in her video she loved it too much to share.
"We don't want you to stress about sharing your Chewbacca mask, so we 'confinscated' masks for everyone," the Kohl's representative said, referring to Payne's joke about her pronunciation in the video.
The store also gave her $2,500 in Kohl's gift cards and 10,000 reward points.
As a bonus, it's a chance to hear Payne's amazing laugh again as her kids mess about with the masks.
For Payne, the moment was about life's "simple joys." For Kohl's, it was simply a no-brainer. The moment may be marketing, but Payne's reaction makes it as sweet as can be.
