本期集訓從3月3日開始 ，国足國足下一場12強賽將與沙特隊在阿聯酋沙迦中立場進行 。强赛前还根據最新賽程安排 ，有两比賽時間由原定的场热北京時間3月25日零點 ，調整為3月24日23點 。身赛
李霄鵬表示 ，踢主最後兩場12強比賽會選用心理狀態更好的国足隊員 ，他直言“現在不談成績了 ，强赛前还誰能拚誰上。有两”在人員方麵 ，他說 ：“我們跟歸化球員一直保持密切的聯係，現在的情況應該說不太樂觀 ，因為我們要求他們10日到迪拜 ，接受國家隊的相關體能測試 。現在來看 ，他們的行程很難達到 ，我們會盡量安排在國內訓練情況比較好的隊員去。”
目前隻有蔣光太抵達 ，艾克森 、洛國富等4名身在巴西的歸化球員未能前往 ，教練組已做好4人缺席的應對準備 。按照安排 ，3月15日和3月20日 ，國足還將進行兩場熱身賽 。
