此前 ，安切阿扎皇馬曾宣布阿紮爾將接受手術 ，洛蒂以摘除他右側腓骨的彻底出场接骨板 。而媒體方麵則爆料 ，弃用阿紮爾之所以在賽季關鍵期接受手術 ，尔动是不动由於其已經不止一次向皇馬抱怨傷處的不適 。

此外，西班牙電視六台表示 ，阿紮爾將會在本周四接受手術 。而西班牙電視六台同樣也宣稱 ，比利時人在本賽季已經確定不會再上場了 。
本賽季 ，阿紮爾隻代表皇馬出戰了22場比賽 ，打入1球助攻2次 ，出場時間隻有877分鍾 ，而他因為各種原因缺席皇馬大名單的場次同樣達到了22場 。
