在中國足球圈內，區楚良的能力 、經驗與口碑都獲得過各方的認可 ，前一陣時間沸沸揚揚的"馮鞏大戰" ，最終也是由於區楚良出麵與鞏漢林進行了一番互動後 ，最終平息下來 。此外 ，此前李霄鵬和李鐵在國家隊的帥位交接 ，也有區楚良的身影。（編輯 劉水土）
