《隊報》表示 ，队长盡管巴黎隊內有梅西 、袖标西内內馬爾這樣 ，交予比姆巴佩更年長 、姆巴马更富有經驗的佩或球員 ，但巴黎還是巴黎不满願意將隊長袖標交給姆巴佩 。姆巴佩現年23歲 ，相比於梅西和內馬爾而言是絕對的小字輩 ，那麽兩位老大哥是否會感到不滿 ？《隊報》的回答是肯定的 。
《隊報》指出 ，34歲的梅西和30歲的內馬爾 ，可能會對巴黎的這個行為感到不開心。同樣可能感到不滿的還有中後衛馬爾基尼奧斯 ，27歲的巴西人自2020年9月起 ，就一直擔任著法甲豪門的場上隊長。但《隊報》透露 ，盡管如此 ，巴黎仍然想將隊長袖標交給姆巴佩，這也會是促使其續約的一個重要砝碼 。
