北京時間9月20日，英媒據英國《太陽報》報道 ，曼联明夏英超豪門曼徹斯特聯俱樂部計劃在明年夏天引進哈蘭德 ，计划與C羅搭檔，挖角王炸組“王炸鋒線” 。哈兰
盡管今夏迎回的罗组C羅在已經出戰的3場比賽中攻入了4球 ，並且陣中還有卡瓦尼 、锋线馬夏爾、英媒拉什福德和格林伍德等眾多標準9號位或能踢中鋒的曼联明夏球員 ，但曼聯仍不滿足 。计划根據《太陽報》的挖角王炸消息 ，曼聯俱樂部計劃在明夏引進哈蘭德 ，哈兰與C羅搭檔，罗组組成超級鋒線 。锋线21歲的英媒哈蘭德是幾乎所有的豪門都覬覦的目標 ，曼聯也不例外 。索爾斯克亞早已不止一次對他曾經調教過的挪威小同鄉拋出過“橄欖枝”，哪怕現在已經擁有了C羅 ，哈蘭德仍是他和曼聯的夢想。雖然與自己踢的位置重合 ，但是C羅並不排斥哈蘭德的到來 ，葡萄牙巨星對這位後輩讚賞有加 ，而挪威天才則視CR7為偶像，因而C羅+哈蘭德的“王炸鋒線”令紅魔的球迷們熱血沸騰 。
C羅與哈蘭德的組合固然令人期待 ，但是《太陽報》指出 ，如果哈蘭德真的在明夏來到老特拉福德 ，那麽曼聯的鋒線必然麵臨重組 。首先是卡瓦尼，這位烏拉圭神鋒原本在明夏離開的可能性就非常大；狀態不穩定的馬夏爾在本賽季已經淪為了中鋒位置的末位選擇 ，哈蘭德到來之後 ，法國前鋒的位置將會更尷尬，離開可能是最明智的決定；拉什福德和格林伍德都是能邊能中的鋒線球員 ，前者目前還在養傷 ，後者本賽季在9號位上有過精彩表現，但C羅到來之後被迫重回邊路，一旦哈蘭德再加盟球隊，兩人都將很難踢中鋒位置。
《太陽報》還表示 ，曼聯想要引進哈蘭德的難度非常大 ，切爾西 、皇家馬德裏 、巴塞羅那、拜仁慕尼黑和巴黎聖日耳曼都對他虎視眈眈 。或許 ，索爾斯克亞和C羅能夠成為曼聯爭奪哈蘭德的重要籌碼。
