Childhood memories and vast quantities of sugar. It's a winning combination.
On Saturday, more than 100 cakes you are sure to remember from pre-teen birthday parties went on display at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra, Australia. The "Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" cake raised the most cash on the day, winning a solid A$650 ($478.83), but each of the book's 107 masterpieces were represented.
