被問到現在的组图狀態，武磊說 ：“自己狀態挺好的国足国富 ，因為上一次打完國家隊比賽回到俱樂部的多哈時候 ，正是首训森表肃武俱樂部非常關鍵的夏訓期，體能儲備挺好 。艾克”雖然淩晨兩點才抵達駐地酒店，情严但是磊对武磊覺得自己休息得不錯 ，他說：“每次回到國家隊都非常開心 ，非常興奮，也很期待。”
十二強賽即將開戰，武磊最看重心態調整 ，他說 ：“我們應該放下心裏的包袱 ，這對我們來說是件好事情 。” 對手澳大利亞隊 ，相比2015年碰麵時有一些老隊員退役了 ，武磊表示 ：“教練組給我們灌輸的是我們要有信心跟他們去抗衡 ，球員現在還是非常有信心的 。” 而且 ，武磊認為 ，6月份中國隊在阿聯酋沙迦打了四十強賽的比賽 ，目前隊伍能更好地適應多哈的天氣，“雖然比賽場地有空調 ，但是天氣對澳大利亞隊來說挑戰更大 。”
