為了檢驗訓練效果 ，国足同時幫助國腳提升競技狀態 ，第场中國隊教練組安排全隊於當地時間9月22日晚進行抵達沙迦後的内部第2場內部教學賽 。
據了解 ，教学将休中國隊原計劃於當地時間9月22日晚與一家當地俱樂部進行熱身 。赛后但受阿聯酋各俱樂部忙於本國聯賽及總統杯賽的整两備戰，他們近期無法抽身與中國隊熱身 。天日在這種情況下 ，恢复中國隊隻能進行第2場內部教學賽 。训练當然 ，国足目前共有31名球員參加沙迦集訓 ，第场除了張琳芃外 ，内部其餘30人基本都可以參加比賽 。教学将休
同樣受阿聯酋聯賽進行的赛后影響，國足教學賽的整两賽地安排也出現了調整 。據悉 ，作為東道主球隊，沙迦隊將於當地時間24日晚主場迎戰半島隊 ，因此在主隊赴沙迦體育場訓練的同時 ，客隊也要使用體育場副場 ，也就是國足本期集訓主要使用的場地 。
幸運的是 ，沙迦俱樂部擁有兩座體育場 。除了沙迦體育場外 ，作為俱樂部訓練基地的哈利德·本·穆罕默德體育場亦可供中國隊使用 。
事實上 ，今年6月備戰40強賽期間 ，中國隊就曾使用過這座體育場。而球隊2019年11月客戰敘利亞隊前 ，也曾在這塊場地上訓練 。此外這座球場的封閉效果更為理想 ，教練組可以從容地演練12強賽的陣型 。
據了解 ，本場比賽結束後 ，國足在9月23日、24日會休整兩天 ，接著於9月25日恢複訓練 。待到9月30日 ，全隊將與敘利亞隊進行一場重要國際熱身 。
