萬達方麵的世传人士向21世紀經濟報道表示 ，王健林“身體很好” ，身体很好近年來一直保持高強度工作 ，达王健闻且每周都給全體員工上課 。辟谣
11月14日晚間 ，林去有一則關於“萬達集團董事長王健林先生去世”的世传謠言在網上流傳。但萬達方麵很快辟謠 。
生於1954年的王健林 ，今年67歲 。今年以來 ，萬達集團正謀求旗下輕資產公司萬達商管的上市 。目前，萬達商管已向港交所遞交了IPO材料 ，正在謀求上市 。有分析認為 ，此次謠言可能是有人想惡意阻止萬達上市 。
